Hildewintera Hybrid 'Traisenfreude' (Specimen #2)

Hildewintera hybrid Traisenfreude' Has a 3"+ diameter bloom with hot pink to red colored inner petals in a rosette form, slightly ruffled petal edges. Outer petals are light orange with a pink overlay. Stamens and anthers are hot pink with cream colored stigma. A cross of Hildewintera hybrid 'Helm's Neue' X Hildewintera hybrid 'Goldie' (Hyb.# BUM 935-1). Hybridized by Dr. Irmfried Buchmann.
Growth : Stem growth averages 1-1/2" diameter with many short golden colored spines, new growth spines tend to be brownish in color. Multi-ribbed, cylindrical type growth. Pendant in growth form.
Notes : Colors of this hybrid can vary depending on fertilizer, light and care given. Inner petals can range from a light rose-pink to dark pink to even almost red-hot pink with cerise-(neon purple) towards petal tips. Outer petals can be dark orange with hints of pink to all light pink-orange.
