Hildewintera Hybrid 'Butterfly'
Specimen Size: 9.5" tall by 2" in diameter.
Hildewintera hybrid 'Butterfly' Has a 5"+ diameter bloom with inner petals white to cream colored, light orange overlay, ruffled petal edges, pinched and pointed petal tips. Stamens and stigma are light yellow to cream colored, anthers are light purple. Outer petals are narrow, extend past inners, radiating, orange with a variation of light to darker pink overlay and an orange mid stripe, petal edges have a faint light purple overlay. Back petals are dark to burnt orange to pinkish with a lighter orange mid stripe, re-curving.Stem growth averages 1-3/4" in diameter, is dark green, multi-ribbed cylindrical form. Long brownish colored spines average 1-1/2" long.

Blooms are fragrant and strongest at dusk. Strong grower and a good bloomer once stem height reaches 12" to 18"+ in length.
Bloom is white to light yellow-cream inner petals and white-orange with pink overlay outer petals first open then color changes to light yellow to pinkish-orange to even more pink coloration.
