Notes : This hybrid is also often called/refered to as HWH 'Haugg's Amethyst'. Good grower even with minimal care. Needs bright light and maturity to bloom well, blooms at about 2-3 years from cuttings or 1 or 2 seasons from a small plant. Blooms beggining in spring April/May thru the warm season with several flushes. Very profuse bloomer once mature with impressive colorful mass-bloom displays. Some sources report this HWH 'Amethyst' was a cross of HWH 'Helms Neue' X Echinopsis-unk(red bloom), but not confirmed, but whatever the actual cross was it made a very spectacular & vibrantly colored HWH!
